Delighted to hear that API Foils in Livingston has been bought by major global packaging business, Aldus.
It’s great news for the employees, their families and our local area which has a long and very proud tradition of manufacturing. API was the second oldest company in Livingston and has a staff which is hugely experienced and committed. This buyout is proof of their skill and expertise.
The Union representatives, Scottish Government, Scottish Enterprise and politicians have worked incredibly hard to ensure the future of the business and 100 jobs have been saved.
