I was delighted to meet with the WASPI (Women Against State Pension Injustice) West Lothian group.
This issue has run on for far too long; it’s time for the Conservative Government to get their heads out of the sand and put an end to this serious injustice.
WASPI women are guilty of nothing; they’ve had the misfortune of being female, born in the 1950s and living under a reckless UK government that refuses to do what’s right.
A state pension isn’t a privilege, it’s a right for these hardworking women. I’d encourage anyone who has been affected directly or knows someone who has to
join the WASPI West Lothian group.
This West Lothian group supports the WASPI Campaign and aims to inform local women of the injustice of the changes to their pension ages.
